Partners in Action

The Buckner Foundation Colonias Program purchases 400 sets destined for low income families living in the Rio Grande Valley area in South Texas.  Ricardo Brambila believes Eduplates will have a positive impact on the young children as they prepare to start their academic years in valley public schools.

Weslaco ISD Parental Involvement Dept. directed by Ms. Leticia Martinez has purchased 140 more Eduplate sets for young children she oversees. She is actually conducting a study to see the impact Eduplates are having on those children.   She and her staff believe that the extra exposure and parent involvement in their childrens' education will have a tremendous impact on future testing and results.

Weslaco ISD Pre K summer program headed by Reyna Ortega will be receiving 250 Eduplate sets this month for the 3rd straight year.  Ms. Ortega has seen the excitement of the children and realizes the importance of and frequent exposure of appropriate literacy in the home and during off school hours and days.

The Zapata County ISD Federal Programs purchased 20 sets of Eduplates to be used in their outreach program to provide a literacy based tool to some of the most needy families they serve. Congratulations on your decision!

The Arlington ISD Prekindergarten Early Start Grant Dept. purchased 500 Eduplate Sets for students of several elementary schools and a set for each classroom.  We congratulate Ms. Tonya West for going the extra mile and providing what we have to offer...an educational tool that works 24/7, engages parents and siblings, and will be working all through summer.  Come this August these future Kindergartners will enter school with the reinforced pre-cursor reading and counting skills needed to take reading and math to the next level.

Houston ISD Northline Elementary has purchased 50 Eduplate sets taking advantage of our promotional sale.  We congratulate Ms. Stephanie Anderson, Title 1 Coordinator on your decision.  

Waldron Elementary School purchases 100 Eduplate sets to distribute to parents during Kindergarten registration in May.  The intention is for students to get a head start in letter and number recognition and reading.  We commend Waldron for investing in their students even before they enter school in August. That is being smart!

 Educational First Steps, a nonprofit providing training and guidance to numerous child care centers in Dallas, purchased 50 sets of Eduplates that will be used to reward parents who complete parental training through their unique program.  We know the parents are going to be glad they completed the training for years to come. 

 Houston ISD M. Garcia Elementary School purchases 20 Eduplate Sets.  We congratulate you for going the extra mile for children.  We know that this small investment will make a huge difference in the lives the Eduplates touch.   

 Spring ISD Salyers Elementary School picks up 12 sets of Eduplates. We congratulate you for giving Eduplates a try.  We are confident that the users will simply be delighted with Eduplates. 

 United ISD Federal Program purchases 30 sets for their families.  This is the 3rd year the program supplements their efforts to teach literacy with Eduplates.  We know more than 30 children will enjoy and learn from our unique products.

 Another Houston ISD school says "yes" to Eduplates.  Park Place Elementary Asst. Principal Ms. Gonzalez realized how Eduplates can accelerate the learning of reading and help make those critical connections between letters and sounds so necessary for decoding words. She bought 50 sets with parent training scheduled for April 17.

 La Joya ISD school E. Zapata Elementary will be purchasing 35 Eduplate sets.  Several parents purchased them and some will be used in the classroom. Ms. Perez says this about the Eduplates "We believe in them and we are going to use them."

 For the 3rd year in a row, Principal Denise Reyes purchases more Eduplate sets making sure all her students have literacy at home.  She purchased 35 sets to keep and give out to those new students or those who need extra exposure to literacy.

 The Houston branch of Texas HIPPY purchased 220 Eduplate sets which will go to students they serve in 11 Houston schools. Ms. Gabriella Hernandez, who heads the Houston office has witnessed the benefits 1st hand for more than 2 years.  Her staff is excited for the children who will have their own sets for years to come.

 Southwest Arkansas Educational Coop located in Hope, AR (birthplace of Pres. Bill Clinton) purchases 51 Eduplate sets for their Special Ed. dept for their 3rd time in 2 years.  Karen Massey, Dirctor of Early Childhood Dept., believes in Eduplates.  Congrats!

 Houston ISD Franklin Elementary School purchased 19 Eduplate Sets .  Ms. Raphiel, the principal took an immediate liking to Eduplates and saw the potential benefits for her students.

 United ISD Even Start program purchases 31 sets inlcuding CDs plus an additional 8 CDs for the children they serve.  This is a repeat sale and the response has been very positive.  We know your parents are appreciative.

 Houston ISD elementary school L.L. Pugh purchased 119 Eduplate sets for their 3 & 4 Pre-K students.  Congratulations for being the first Houston school to provide this unique product to your youngest students.  They will be eduplating for years to come.

 

Weslaco ISD Parental Involvement will be receiving 200 Eduplate sets including CDs in the next couple of weeks.  After purchasing 20 sets and 125 CDs they do this.  Eduplates work and we believe no young child should be without their very own set.  A sound reading foundation is not negotiable and no $$ value is too high.

New Caney ISD Ben Branch Elementary joins two sister schools in Porter by purchasing 160 Eduplate sets for their Pre-K and Kindergarten students. This is what we call doing whatever it takes to make sure Porter, TX has a bright future by getting parents involved in their chidren's learning.   Money well spent.  Congrats.

New Caney ISD Sorter Mills Elementary purchases 154 Eduplate sets for their Pre-K and Kindergarten students.  Literacy at home with fun music for language development and good memories.   Congratulations for going the extra mile for your students.  

The Lamar CISD Project Learn Program headed by Ms. Paula Bauer purchases 100 sets of Eduplates with CD for each of the families she serves.  The progarm serving children from 0 to 3 years prepares future students to enter school with letter and number knowledge among other things.  Congratulations to all! 

HJM Elementary Principal Pam Weathersby purchases 10 Eduplate sets with CDs for her teachers.  She expects her teachers to place another order soon. 

West Point School District purchases another 125 Eduplate sets and 100 CDs for their elementary school. 

Farias Elementary follows up with a purchase 156 sets of Eduplates and CDs.  Congratulations!  Your young students are in for fun dinnertimes.

McDonnell Elementary purchases 100 sets of Eduplates and CDs.  Congratulations to the principal for finding a way to get literacy in the homes and providing parents a tool to get involved with their childrens learning.

Crippen Elementary in the New Caney ISD purchases 125 Eduplate Sets with CDs for their very young students.  Like many other educators, "They love them!"  Without a sound reading foundation can we expect students to succeed academically?

The West Point School District purchases 435 Eduplate Sets with CD.  A year ago they purchased 64 sets.  We at Eduplate say 'You can't go wrong providing a practical educational tool to children who are learning the foundation of reading now and beyond school hours!" Local daycare students to receive Eduplates...what a great idea!

Congratulations Denise Reyes, Principal of North Heights Elementary as she again goes the extra mile to get parents involved in their children's education by providing Eduplates to all her kindergarten students.  The extra literacy exposure at home will go a long way in making her students great readers who will love to read.

For the 2nd year in row, Winnebago Elementary Kindergarten Teacher Lenne Holland purchases 25 sets for her young students.  Not only will they enjoy their plates but their own personal Sing Along CD.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD, Teenage Parenting Program purchased 50 Eduplate Sets with the Sing Along CD.  50 lucky students will now be equipped to provide a fun way of engaging with their young children as they accomplish their duty of being their child's first and most important teacher in their life.

North East ISD, School Age Parenting Program purchased 70 Eduplate Sets for their students.  We congratulate these educators for providing this unique educational tool which will provide a practical and useful method for these young parents to expose their children to early literacy.

Donna ISD Special Education Director Sylvia Ripley purchased 125 Eduplate Sets with the Sing Along CD for her students.  We congratulate her for providing a fun and practical educational tool for parents to engage in the learning process of their children.

Approximately 400 students participating in the Project SMART 2009 Summer Program at North Bridge Elementary will be receiving their very own copy of Professor Read-A-Lot's Sing Along CD.  Children will get to sing their favorite tunes at home and school by having their own personal copy.   Like the saying goes  "Practice makes perfect."  Feeling blue?  Not for long with the Professor's Sing Along CD.

Children's Beach House, a non-profit organization serving children of special needs just purchased 500 Eduplate sets and CDs.   Our congratulations to all who made this possible.  Children and parents in the Lewes, DE area will soon be experiencing some fun learning time during mealtimes for years to come.  Add our children song CD and it only gets better.   We at Eduplate say "thanks" to staff and directors for all you do for children.

Weslaco ISD Pre K summer program will be providing 225 youngsters with their own set of Eduplates and Parent Involvement Program purchases 225 Children Song CDs.  Also 50 classrooms will be provided a CD for children to enjoy for years to come.

Region 17 Educational Service Center in Lubbock, TX purchased 50 Eduplate Sets along with 50 Children Song CDs.  Ms. Yolanda Sanchez, School Readiness Integration/Pre-K Migrant Specialist purchased a set for her grandaughter in Dec. 2008 and saw firsthand the impact the Eduplates are having on her education.

Katherine Tarver Elementary School purchased 175 Eduplate Sets for their Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten students.  We know they will be doing some learning come this summer.

Parents as Teachers Coordinator Ms. Diana Galvan helps underprivileged families purchase their own set of Eduplates (plus Children Song Cd) for the second year in a row.  Twenty two more families will be enjoying Eduplates for years to come.   We say "Congratulations and Thank You Ms. Galvan"  for going the extra mile for her families.

Roma Federal Program Dept. purchases 35 Eduplate sets and CDs for the families served by their Building Bridges program.  This is the second consecutive year Eduplate provides their educational tools to empower parents help thier young children.  

Two elementary schools with cooperation from the Bilingual Dept. purchase 100 sets and workbooks each for their Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms.  

Brownsville ISD orders 500 CDs for all of their Bilingual Early Childhood classrooms.   Music and song will provide another tool to help develop verbal fluency / vocabulary, as well as many moments of fun and joy.

United ISD School Age Parenting program and Federal Programs order 350 sets & CDs and 35 sets respectively.  Congratulations for putting literacy and music in the lives of these very young children.  We know their lives will be changed for the better.

Migrant Dept. purchases 500 sets in this South Texas city. We congratulate Ms. Linda Taormina, Coordinator for taking the initiative and making a differnce through this innovative approach of putting literacy in the hands of children.

Cardwell Elementary, a Pre-K school in the SFDR CISD, purchases 400 sets for each child in school.  Congratulations to the principal for making sure these students will have some literacy at home all summer long and for years to come.

San Antonio ISD Early Childhood Dept. in conjunction with the Child Nutrition Program purchases 400 sets of Eduplates to promote literacy and encourage good eating habits which the Professor on the Eduplates states clearly.  Not only do children learn but parents pick up on the message of eating healthy.

Northside ISD School Age Parenting Program purchases 200 sets in their efforts to highlight to their young mother and children the importance reading needs to be in their lives.  We appreciate and congratulate Ms. Lisa Delgado for doing whatever she can to help these students become great parents.

Bruni Elementary and Heights Elementary purchases 200  and 66 sets respectively while taking advantage of the special pricing the company made available to campuses across the state.  Way to go Bruni and Heights!!

 SFDR CISD  Bilingual Dept. and  Calderon Elementary received Eduplates they purchased recently on Friday, Feb. 20.  226 sets were delivered between the department and the school.   Good for you!  Some lucky young students and their families will be getting thier own sets very soon for all to enjoy and learn.

 C. L. Milton Elementary and Alma Pierce Elementary PTC purchased 200 and 100 sets after seeing the potential impact the Eduplates could have in a child's home environment in regards to the learning that can take place there.

 Even Start Family Literacy Center in Cheyenne Wy purchased 40 sets for the families they serve.  Our congratulations to Anita Bassett for taking action and doing what she can to help children learn and get parents involved.

 Santo Nino Elementary School in Laredo, Tx purchases 100 sets for al their Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten students.

 Denison ISD provides Eduplates for up to 250 Pre-K and Head Start students. 

 The Monte Alto ISD Migrant Dept. purchases 18 sets for the families they serve.  Ms. Yolanda Villarreal learned about the Eduplates at the Texas AMET conference in McAllen, TX.   Congratulations for taking action on behalf of the children

 The EVEN START Literacy Program of Northside ISD purchases 75 sets for the families the program serves.  We know very well that your parents and their children will enjoy the Eduplates for years to come.

 Child Life Academy in Chicago, IL purchased 14 sets to give to parents.   Michael Miller, Headmaster,  learned about EduPlate while attending the NAEYC conference in  Dallas, TX in November.

Deidra Brown, M.S., Early Childhood Director, at St. Philip's School ad Community Center in Dallas, TX took the initiative to offer all her student's parents the opportunity to purchase their own set of Eduplates. She was able to get over 47 sets ordered and she said "I am not finished yet!"  Ms. Brown obviously not only sees the impact that the Eduplates could have on learning how to read, but also creating that love of learning we want to instill in all our youth.  "Congratulations!"

Hector P. Garcia Elementary (Temple I. S. D.)  purchases 30 Eduplate Sets to be used in the classrooms.  This also includes the ESL classrooms.  The principal learned about EduPlates at the Texas Assoc. for Bilingual Education conference held in Arlington, TX.

ChildCareGroup of Dallas, one of the most respected child care organizations in the U.S., purchased 70 Eduplate Sets for the Born Learning program they are implementing in conjunction with United Way of Dallas and Dallas I. S. D.

Irving I.S.D., Bilingual/ESL/Migrant Dept. purchased 65 Eduplate Sets and Workbooks to supplement their literacy program.  We commend this district for investing and taking action to provide the families they serve with this unique product.

At the Kindergarten Teachers of Texas Annual Conference held in San Antonio, TX, Lenne Holland, kindergarten teacher at Winnebago Elementary purchased 15 Eduplate sets for her students after winning a $100 door prize.  "Congratulations on spending the money on your students.  They are a lucky group!" 

Dallas ISD elementary school Leo Cigarroa purchases 36 Eduplate sets to be used during their PTA meetings as give aways to parents and their children.

The Waldron School District purchased 110 Eduplate Sets for their elementary school.  Administrative staff learned about our products at the AAESP conference in Little Rock, AR in August, 2008.

Clinton Public Schools in Clinton, AR ordered 64 Eduplate Sets for their elementary students.

Salvation Army of Dallas purchases 200 sets of Eduplates for their Christmas Charity Event coming up this December.

Texas HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) held a training for home instructors from around the state in Dallas, TX. Michael J. Puig, founder of Eduplate was invited by Ms. Carla Weir, Texas State Director, to make staff members aware of the Eduplates and how they can assist parents prepare their children become school ready. United I.S.D. Parents Empowering Parents Program purchased 350 Eduplate sets for their high school students and their children. The Coordinator indicated the Eduplates were well received and greatly appreciated.

West Point School District. purchases 64 sets for some of their 3 year old students participating in the Parents as Teachers program.

A private citizen donated $1000.00 dollars to St. Thomas the Apostle Church to be used to purchase over 110 sets of EduPlates for parishioners with small children who have very limited access to books at home. Sr. Adela Lozano who works with the families is excited to know that these children will now have an educational tool that will facilitate learning at home and promotes parent involvement.

Mission ISD Migrant Dept. recently purchased 500 sets of EduPlates for their Summer Migrant 3 and 4 yr old Early Childhood Program.

The Parents as Teachers program associated with the Southern Iowa Economic Development Assoc. purchased 208 EduPlates sets which went directly to families they serve in efforts to encourage learning and school readiness.

The Southwest Arkansas Educational Service Center made an initial purchase of 32 Eduplate Sets to be used in their Early Childhood programs.

A very lucky group of Pre-K students at a local elementary school in the Ft. Worth ISD pose with their newly received EduPlates that were donated by a private citizen. These students with great smiles on their faces will now be learning and reinforcing what they learn in school as they sit in their dinner tables at home.

Several local banks, private citizens and EduPlate grouped their resources and donated funds and EduPlates to the Texas Migrant Council and the Texas Migrant Season Head Start. Nearly 400 set of EduPlates made their way to the homes of disadvantaged children. Mary Capello, chief executive of the Texas Migrant Council, said “The plates are designed for 3 - and 4-year-olds, but they can be used by younger children.” To read the entire news article click here.
