December 2008 --Monte Alto, Texas

 The Monte Alto ISD Migrant Dept. purchases 18 sets for the families they serve.  Ms. Yolanda Villarreal learned about the Eduplates at the Texas AMET conference in McAllen, TX.   Congratulations for taking action on behalf of the children

December 2008 --- San Antonio, Texas

 The EVEN START Literacy Program of Northside ISD purchases 75 sets for the families the program serves.  We know very well that your parents and their children will enjoy the Eduplates for years to come.

December 2008 -- Three Rivers, Texas

 Ms. Cynthia Porter, pre-kindergarten teacher at Three Rivers Elementary placed an order for all her students.   We at Eduplate commend you for investing in your children and going the extra mile to better prepare them for kindergarten. 

December 2008 -- Chicago, Illinois

 Child Life Academy in Chicago, IL purchased 14 sets to give to parents.   Michael Miller, Headmaster,  learned about EduPlate while attending the NAEYC conference in  Dallas, TX in November.

November 2008 -- Dallas,Texas

Deidra Brown, M.S., Early Childhood Director, at St. Philip's School ad Community Center in Dallas, TX took the initiative to offer all her student's parents the opportunity to purchase their own set of Eduplates. She was able to get over 47 sets ordered and she said "I am not finished yet!"  Ms. Brown obviously not only sees the impact that the Eduplates could have on learning how to read, but also creating that love of learning we want to instill in all our youth.  "Congratulations!"

October 2008 -- Temple, Texas

Hector P. Garcia Elementary (Temple I. S. D.)  purchases 30 Eduplate Sets to be used in the classrooms.  This also includes the ESL classrooms.  The principal learned about EduPlates at the Texas Assoc. for Bilingual Education conference held in Arlington, TX.

October 2008 -- Diboll,Texas

The Diboll ISD Even Start Family Literacy purchased 36 Eduplate Sets to be used in their early childhood education program. To learn more about Even Start click here.

October 2008 -- Dallas,Texas

ChildCareGroup of Dallas, one of the most respected child care organizations in the U.S., purchased 70 Eduplate Sets for the Born Learning program they are implementing in conjunction with United Way of Dallas and Dallas I. S. D.

October 2008 -- Irving, Texas

Irving I.S.D., Bilingual/ESL/Migrant Dept. purchased 65 Eduplate Sets and Workbooks to supplement their literacy program.  We commend this district for investing and taking action to provide the families they serve with this unique product.

October 2008 -- Little Rock and Hope, Arkansas

HIPPY Arkansas main office in Little Rock and the Hope location recently purchased 20 and 75 sets respectively.  The Eduplates will be used as a literacy support product with the 3 and 4 year old children this organization serves. To learn more about HIPPY click here www.hippyusa.org

October 2008 -- Winnebago, Minnesota

At the Kindergarten Teachers of Texas Annual Conference held in San Antonio, TX, Lenne Holland, kindergarten teacher at Winnebago Elementary purchased 15 Eduplate sets for her students after winning a $100 door prize.  "Congratulations on spending the money on your students.  They are a lucky group!" 

September 2008 -- Dallas, Texas

Dallas ISD elementary school Leo Cigarroa purchases 36 Eduplate sets to be used during their PTA meetings as give aways to parents and their children.

September 2008 -- Waldron, Arkansas

The Waldron School District purchased 110 Eduplate Sets for their elementary school.  Administrative staff learned about our products at the AAESP conference in Little Rock, AR in August, 2008.

August 2008 -- Clinton, Arkansas

Clinton Public Schools in Clinton, AR ordered 64 Eduplate Sets for their elementary students.

August 2008 -- Dallas, Texas

Salvation Army of Dallas purchases 200 sets of Eduplates for their Christmas Charity Event coming up this December.

February 2008 -- Dallas, Texas

Texas HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) held a training for home instructors from around the state in Dallas, TX. Michael J. Puig, founder of Eduplate was invited by Ms. Carla Weir, Texas State Director, to make staff members aware of the Eduplates and how they can assist parents prepare their children become school ready. March 2008 -- Laredo, Texas

United I.S.D. Parents Empowering Parents Program purchased 350 Eduplate sets for their high school students and their children. The Coordinator indicated the Eduplates were well received and greatly appreciated.

April 2008 -- West Point, Mississippi

West Point School District. purchases 64 sets for some of their 3 year old students participating in the Parents as Teachers program.

June 2008 -- Los Angeles, California

A private citizen donated $1000.00 dollars to St. Thomas the Apostle Church to be used to purchase over 110 sets of EduPlates for parishioners with small children who have very limited access to books at home. Sr. Adela Lozano who works with the families is excited to know that these children will now have an educational tool that will facilitate learning at home and promotes parent involvement.

May 2008 -- Mission, Texas

Mission ISD Migrant Dept. recently purchased 500 sets of EduPlates for their Summer Migrant 3 and 4 yr old Early Childhood Program.

May 2008 -- Brownsville, Texas (BROAD PRIZE Winner)

The Brownsville ISD Bilingual Dept. recently purchased 1200 sets of EduPlates for their Summer Bilingual Early Childhood Program.  EduPate congratulates Brownsville ISD for winning the 2008 BROAD Prize.  Click here to learn more about this school districts accomplishments.

April 2008 - Del Rio, Texas

Kindergartners at North Heights Elementary in SFDR ISD show off their new sets of EduPlates handed out to them by the Easter Bunny. Empowering students, teachers and parents is just one of the benefits of EduPlates. April 2008 -- Ottumwa, Iowa

The Parents as Teachers program associated with the Southern Iowa Economic Development Assoc. purchased 208 EduPlates sets which went directly to families they serve in efforts to encourage learning and school readiness.

August 2008 -- Hope, Arkansas

The Southwest Arkansas Educational Service Center made an initial purchase of 32 Eduplate Sets to be used in their Early Childhood programs.

October 2007 -- Ft. Worth, Texas

A very lucky group of Pre-K students at a local elementary school in the Ft. Worth ISD pose with their newly received EduPlates that were donated by a private citizen. These students with great smiles on their faces will now be learning and reinforcing what they learn in school as they sit in their dinner tables at home.

July 2007 - Laredo, Texas

Several local banks, private citizens and EduPlate grouped their resources and donated funds and EduPlates to the Texas Migrant Council and the Texas Migrant Season Head Start. Nearly 400 set of EduPlates made their way to the homes of disadvantaged children. Mary Capello, chief executive of the Texas Migrant Council, said “The plates are designed for 3 - and 4-year-olds, but they can be used by younger children.” To read the entire news article click here.
